Annotatsiya

This article examines Uzbekistan’s political engagement with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) within the framework of regional integration and multilateral diplomacy. Using a qualitative methodology that combines document analysis, comparative case studies, and thematic interpretations, the study highlights Uzbekistan’s strategic initiatives since joining the TTS in 2019. The findings show that it has made significant progress in trade expansion, transport links, diplomatic leadership, and cultural cooperation. Uzbekistan’s 2022–2023 TTS chairmanship, particularly through the Samarkand Summit, has emphasized its role as a mediator and consensus builder, emphasizing dialogue, economic development, and cultural diplomacy over military alliances. The discussion examines Uzbekistan’s engagement in the broader geopolitical context of Eurasia and shows how the country leverages historical and cultural ties to achieve contemporary strategic goals. This study confirms that Uzbekistan's cooperation with the TUT reflects a long-term vision of integration, presenting it as a key architect of Turkic unity and a central player in shaping the future of regionalism.
